The Story of Promise Land Ministries Church of the Narrow Way
Promise Land was birthed out of and into God’s love. By God, not by man, to love unconditionally and to share all with the least of these, Christ's brothers.
The Promise Land Story contains an account of Promise Land's beginnings, its struggles in looking for a permanent home, and God's provision and faithfulness through the years to this day. It begins like this...
Where Did It All Begin?
We could tell our story starting from the first event and ending with the most current events, about men and the long hours they put in and how they suffered though circumstances with times and places. But the true story is: Promise Land was birthed out of and into God’s love. By God, not by man.

concluded our meeting by saying he would take the matter to the
County Commission. The Gilmer County Commissioner, Charles Fowler,
who also sets on the hospital’s Board of Directors, called the head
of Gilmer County Planning and Building Commission, James Holloway,
and instructed himPromise Land Ministries
to have our ministry shut down... (continued...)
A Period of Wilderness Wandering
From August of 2003 to 2008, PLM's mens ministry was prevented from using the church property. Again praying and trusting God proves to be the answer. This is the story of God's provision for the mens ministry of Promise Land during those difficult years. (continued...)
